Born and raised in Miami, Florida. Ms. Rodriguez-Schmidt received a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from St. Thomas University. She was a paralegal at Rubenstein Law for 12 years before going to law school. Ms. Rodriguez-Schmidt assisted with personal injury claims including automobile accidents, slip and falls and premise liability. She earned her Juris Doctor degree at St. Thomas University School of Law.
Ms. Rodriguez-Schmidt is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and in the Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar and Dade County Bar Association. Ms. Rodriguez-Schmidt has been an active volunteer in the Justice Teaching Program since 2006. A program designed by Chief Justice Lewis, which assigns lawyers to different schools to assist teachers in teaching our constitutional doctrines to students in Florida.
Ms. Rodriguez-Schmidt enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and working out.
