Born in Miami, Florida, Carlos D. Gonzalez received his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida International University College of Law.  His hard work and dedication allowed him to graduate within the top 30% of his law school class, achieve Dean’s List, and also earn a Book Award.  His legal studies focused on trial advocacy and contract law.  Currently, Carlos is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Bar.

Carlos graduated cum laude from Florida International University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy, with a minor in Computer Science.  His enthusiasm for his studies earned him several spots on the Dean’s List.  Throughout his undergraduate college career, Carlos was an active member of Delta Epsilon Iota, Golden Key, Pi Sigma Alpha and other honor societies.  As a member, Carlos was involved in many projects that helped those less fortunate in the Miami-Dade community.

When not working, Carlos participates in small grassroots organizations that open dialogues between students of oppressed third world countries and the United States.  He also serves his local community by volunteering for food kitchens.

Carlos has traveled extensively throughout Europe and is fluent in English and Spanish.   He currently resides in Miami, Florida.
