The Miami Herald has reported that on Monday October 05, 2009 Broward General Medical Center administrators announced that a hospital employee may have risked the health of nearly two thousand patients.

The Employees Name has not been released at this time. It is known that the person was employed as a nurse at the Center for Cardiac Excellence. The Hospital has removed the employee.
