Irwin Ast joined Rubenstein Law in 2008.  Mr. Ast's practice centers on automobile accidents, negligence cases, and serious injury cases. Borrowing from his prior career in the computer technology field Mr. Ast also focuses on product liability and design defect cases.  Mr. Ast has represented over 100 Engel Trust Fund Claimants.

Consumer Safety and Consumer Protection is of special interest to Mr. Ast.  Representing ordinary people against large corporations and insurance companies is what drives his practice. Asserting the rights of ordinary people against powerful interests is the best way to make sure that the insurance companies honestly evaluate claims. Additionally holding negligent parties accountable is the best way to assure  that the harm that happened to you because of a third persons negligence does not happen to your neighbors.

Born and raised in New York, Irwin Ast is now a resident of South Florida he is the father of two sons and he is fluent in Spanish. Irwin Ast is a member of the Florida Bar and the Connecticut Bar. Mr. Ast is also a member of the American Association for Justice and the Florida Justice Association.

Irwin Ast Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University where he studied psychology. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Saint Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. As a student Mr. Ast earned assorted academic awards in addition to being a research assistant to Professor Lauren Gilbert on her article concerning immigration which was published in the Columbia Journal of European Law.
