Attorney Robert Rubenstein is recognized throughout the state as an experienced and respected personal injury attorney. He formed Rubenstein Law, in 1988. The firm has grown to a staff of over 100 employees and they have proven themselves as worthy opponents to insurance companies and corporate giants.
Recognized by his peers in the personal injury field, he is listed in the Florida Guide to Leading Personal Injury Attorneys and Personal Injury Law. Additionally, Mr. Rubenstein is AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating awarded by the publication. Martindale Hubbell ratings are determined by the confidential opinions of other lawyers. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Claims, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals in the Eleventh Circuit. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice.
Mr. Rubenstein began his career in large law firms where he handled corporate mergers and acquisitions as well as tax law. It was in this work that he acquired business and negotiation proficiency and learned the importance of a service-oriented practice. Mr. Rubenstein supervises and is responsible for every case in the office.
Graduating at the top of his class, Mr. Rubenstein earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Law School in 1978. In law school, he was recognized with academic awards of Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi, given only to the best students. In 1971 he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Rubenstein’s has made community involvement a big priority. He has supported a significant number of causes over the years, and many of his attorneys and employees play active roles in a variety of important local and national organizations. Here are some examples of his efforts:

When not serving the community or working, during times of leisure he likes to play chess. Mr. Rubenstein was the editor of Canada's national chess magazine, Chess Canada, prior to law school. Mr. Rubenstein is also an avid exercise enthusiast.
