Jordan M. KirbyAttorney
Jordan M. Kirby joined Rubenstein Law in 2010. He concentrates his practice on zealously representing individuals who have become seriously injured or who have lost their loved ones as a result of the negligence of another party or parties. Mr. Kirby has represented individuals in incidents involving automobiles, slip/ trip and falls, defective products, and medical malpractice.
Prior to joining Rubenstein Law, Mr. Kirby successfully represented individuals in multi-million dollar products liability matters state-wide and nationally. In March of 2010, Mr. Kirby was one of two plaintiff’s counsel in the successful verdict (in the amount of $14,191,000.00) for such an individual against multiple Fortune 100 defendants.
Mr. Kirby began his legal practice in New York City with one of the largest law firms worldwide. For several years, he practiced as a commercial litigator and gained experience representing global corporations.
Mr. Kirby earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC Law School, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal and had an article published entitled, “Unexpired Leases Under the New Bankruptcy Act: A Win-Win for Landlords and Lenders?” He was also a member of the Holderness Moot Court Environmental Appellate Advocacy Team. Additionally, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephen T. Brown, U.S. Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Kirby earned his undergraduate degree in Criminology and Communication Studies (double major) from the Florida State University. He served as the President of the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, Vice President of the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity, and was a member of multiple other leadership and honor societies.
Being active in the community is a passion for Mr. Kirby. He is a member of many organizations in the community, including the Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot Host Committee, the Ghost Light Society, Emerge Broward, and the Gentlemen’s Society.
While not working or serving his community, Mr. Kirby enjoys traveling, snowboarding, cycling, running, family, food, wine, and friends.
